Dear Sir,
I am the owner of Skoda Superb (VIN: TMBBBK3T7AA303132) residing in Mumbai, India.
We are approaching you as our last resort before we move ahead and file a law suit against Soda India Pvt Ltd. And JMD Auto Pvt. Ltd.
2 months back the car stopped functioning and I had to tow it to the authorized service centre. Since then the car is with them at their garage.
They say the car engine has failed and needs replacement but they are unable to answer what caused such failure or what is the failure about. They are also not giving any proper response in writing even after asking them multiple times.
One of the reasons the works manager at JMD Kandivali, Mumbai told me is that we failed to replace Engine Oil in 2015 which caused faults in the engine. On asking why were we not indicated about it when car had came for service and repairs multiple times the manager is not responding to that query.
I understand the fact that Car is out of warranty. But this mishap according to them has happened because of Engine oil was not replaced. Which is their duty to change or intimate us about the requirement which they failed to do so. And hence we are fighting for justice as this is the service centre’s inefficiency which led to the failure.
Even after multiple queries raised Skoda India in not responding them or even trying to resolve the same.
I am approaching you for advice and guidance on what could be our options to solve the same.
